1. Jack Dorsey Quits Twitter to Focus on Bitcoin 

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, has stepped down from his position at the social media company after serving for over six years.

In a tweet he shared to his 5.9 million followers on Monday, Dorsey stated that he had resigned as the CEO of social media giant Twitter, which he assisted co-found in 2006.

2. China's Largest Crypto Exchange Huobi Said To Make Singapore Its Regional Base For Asia 

Huobi Group, which operates China's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has reportedly decided to make Singapore its new regional headquarters for Asia with a second location in Europe under consideration.

3. Crypto Firm Galaxy Digital to Raise $500M for New Fund, Mining Operations 

Galaxy Digital is raising fresh funds to continue the firm’s expansion and to keep pace with the crypto industry’s continued growth. 

The firm is looking to raise $500 million through the sale of five-year convertible bonds in exchange for stock in the company. These notes would earn holders 3% interest and are set to mature in 2026, according to the firm.

4. Finance Minister NirmalaSitharaman said that govt is working on a new bill to regulate  cryptocurrencies in India

As a result, the description of the Crypto Bill on the Lok Sabha website bulletin was outdated.

FM informed Rajya Sabha that the risk of cryptocurrencies falling into the wrong hands is being monitored.

The government is close to submitting the crypto bill to Parliament, according to Sitharaman
